Darkglass B7K gives you a dynamic bass overdrive sound. Equipped with 4-band EQ and DI features. B7K Ultra has the following extra features that the basic model does not have: 1. Master Volume control for controlling the total output volume. 2. Separate footswitch for activating the distortion. 3. Three-position switch for each Mid control which alllow you to tailor the sound to suit your setup. V2 also has a headphone out and balanced XLR output with an exchangeable impulse response cabinet modelling.
- Controls:
Master: Controls the output volume level of the pedal.
Blend: Mixes clean signal into the fuzz signal. Clean sound always stays at unity gain, whereas the volume of the fuzz is determined by the Level control.
Level: Sets the volume level for the overdrive.
Drive: Sets the amount of saturation/overdrive.
Low, Lo Mids, Hi Mids and Treble: EQ controls for the pedal. Each control has the ability to cut or boost the controlled frequency +/-12 desibels. Frequencies are: Low 100 Hz, Low Mid 1 kHz, 500 Hz or 250 Hz, Hi Mid 3 kHz, 1,5 kHz, or 750 kHz, Treble 5 kHz.
Lo Mid Switch: Allows you to choose the position of the Lo Mid control. Options are: 1 kHz, 500 Hz or 250 Hz.
Hi Mid Switch: Allows you to choose the position of the Hi Mid control. Options are: 3 kHz, 1,5 kHz or 750 Hz.
Grunt Switch: Three-position switch that controls the amount of low frequencies going into the clipping section of the pedal.
Attack Switch: Three-position switch that controls the amount of high frequencies. Boost position enhances high frequencies and gives you more clarity, Flat position leaves the high frequencies untouched and Cut position cuts high frequencies.
Ground Lift: If you experience noise and hum problems caused by ground loops, press this switch.
Outputs: Output, Direct Output (balanced XLR output for mixer), headphone out.
Cab Sim: This button turns the XLR output cabinet simulation on and off. - USB B port for connecting the pedal to a PC or Mac for impulse response cabinet uploading.
