Electro-Harmonix Frequency Analyzer is a ring modulator for guitar. The sound is a sum of the notes you are playing and the frequencies produced by the pedal. Devo and Mars Volta have used this effect type a lot in their songs.
- Controls:
Blend: Sets the mix between the dry signal and the effected signal.
Shift: Sets the frequency produced by the pedal. Range is about 4-5 octaves.
Fine: Fine-tune control for the frequency.
Filter switch: When this filter is active, the lower frequency produced by the pedal is filtered out. - Power Requirements: 40V DC center positive power supply, included with the pedal.
