EHX Mainframe is a bit crusher that makes your guitar sound like an old console/computer game. You can adjust the sample rate from 48 kHz to 110 Hz and bit depth from 24 bits to 1 bit, so you can make the sound very lo-fi. Versatile EQ and Blend options included.
- Controls:
Vol: Sets output volume level.
Blend: Controls the mix between dry and effected signals. Goes from 100% dry to 100% wet.
Peak: Adjusts filter resonance. Towards 5 o'clock the sound becomes sharper and more cutting.
Freq: Adjusts the filter frequency. You can use the frequency range with the Filter button, which gives you three different filter types: Low Pass Filter, High Pass Filter and Bandbass Filter.
Bit Depth: Controls bit depth, lower resolution towards 5 o'clock
Sample Rate: Adjusts the sample rate. Lower sample ratet towards 5 o'clock. - You can save your favorite settings to a preset
- Possibility to control any parametre with an expression pedal.
- In Sample Rate Tuning Mode the pedal adjusts the sample rate to fit the key you are playing at.
