Night Wire is a tremolo pedal with some twists that are to be expected from Earthquaker Devices. Night Wire gives you a wide variety of differerent tremolo sounds in a small package. In addition you will also get a selection of phase and vibe sounds combined to tremolo effect, which set the Night Wire apart from all other tremolo pedals.
- Controls:
Level: Controls output volume level. Unity gain is at 12 o'clock.
Rate switch and Rate control: You have to options for setting the tremolo speed. In Manual mode the Rate control sets the speed. In Attack mode your playing dynamics and picking speed control the tremolo speed. More attack = faster tremolo. In Attack mode the Rate control sets the sensitivity of this dynamic tremolo effect.
Depth: Sets the depth of tremolo. More depth towards 5 o'clock.
Frequency switch and Frequency control: Frequency switch gives you three different options for controllling the filter frequency. in LFO mode the filter is controlled with a moving LFO, which gives the sound a phaser-like flavor. In LFO mode the Frequency control sets LFO speed. In Manual mode the filter frequency is set with the Frequency control. In Attack mode your playing dynamics alter the filter frequency dynamically. In this mode the Frequency control is a sensitivity control. - Power Requirements: 2.1mm 9V DC centre negative power supply. 78 mA.
