Orange Getaway Driver gives you Orange amp-style overdrive sounds in a pedal form. The overdrive is created with an single-ended, Class-A JFET circuitry as in tube amplifiers. Headphone output has a spearer simulator circuitry. Very nice, tube amp-like playing feel.
- Controls:
Vol: Sets output volume level.
Gain: Controls the amount of gain. Starts from an almost clean sound. Good low-gain sounds at around 9-12 o'clock. Gain level increases as you move towards 5 o'clock.
Bite: Tone control for the pedal. Gets brighter towards 5 o'clock. - Power Requirements: 2.1 mm 9 or 12V DC centre negative power supply, 30 mA. Voltage is raised to 18V internally.
