The Strymon Sunset gives you two customizable overdrive pedals in one package. For both channels, you can choose from three different distortion sounds with your own gain, volume and tonal settings that can be routed in the desired order. From a transparent overdrive to fuzz, the Strymon Sunset covers it all.
- Controls and features:
Level A and B: Adjusts the output volume level for channels A and B.
Drive A and B: Adjusts the amount of gain for channels A and B.
Tone A and B: Adjusts the high frequencies for channels A and B. The range of this control varies according to the current distortion.
Selector switch A: Selects the type of A channel. The options are:
Ge - Germanium diode based overdrive with a parallel dry signal path.
Texas - Single gain stage soft clip, featuring mid-rise.
Treble - Pure treble boost, tone control eliminates low frequencies.
Selector switch B: Selects the type of B channel. The options are:
2 Stage - Two Wrong Distortion. In another, soft clipping and another hard clipping.
Hard - High-level distortion with strong clipping.
JFET - Pure boost that thickens your sound and adds heat to it.
Bright switch: Three-way switch for adjusting your high frequency to a level that works with your amplifier.
Config switch: Defines the order of the channels on the signal path. Options A-> B, B-> A and A + B, where effects are coupled in parallel.
Favorite Interface: You can record one of your favorite settings in the pedal. Recording and activation is carried out using the Strymon Mini Switch Footswitch.
Expression Pedal Input: You can control any or all of the adjustments on the Expression Pedal. - Hidden controls (activated when Tap and Bypass are pressed to the bottom when the pedal is in currents):
Noise Reduction: Reduces humming and unwanted sounds. - Power Requirements: 2,1mm 9V DC minus in the middle of the power supply, 250 mA. The power supply is supplied with the pedal.
