One word that describes this amp the best: dynamics. You can go from overdrive-laden riffs to clean picking with just lowering your guitar's volume pot or just by playing softer. Old School 21RT has built-in reverb and tremolo. Amp's reverb is based on Mad Professor's Silver Spring Reverb pedal.
Amp's designer Björn Juhl went through the original point-to-point version of Old School 21 and fine-tuned it. They wanted to make the amp more affordable, so Björn and Jukka Mönkkönen of Mad Professor designed a PCB for it in cooperation with Martin Kidd from the UK. The components are exactly the same as in the previous version of the amp. Björn himself thinks that this is the best amp he has ever designed.
